The tolling bell and guitar intro from AC/DC's Hells Bells, used for dramatic entrances, big reveals and heavy moments in short videos and memes.

The clip opens with a slow, ominous church bell tolling in the distance, each strike hanging in silence before the next one lands. Then the familiar AC/DC guitar riff crashes in, heavy, confident and instantly recognisable, turning a quiet build into a full rock entrance. It feels dark, powerful and a little theatrical, like something important is about to walk into the room. That contrast between the solemn bell and the driving riff is what makes it work on screen, giving an ordinary moment instant weight, menace and swagger.

Hells Bells is the opening track on AC/DC's 1980 album Back in Black, the band's first record with singer Brian Johnson after the death of Bon Scott. The song begins with a tolling bell before the band's guitar riff takes over, and that stark opening helped make it one of the group's most recognisable songs. Over the decades it has become a staple for dramatic entrances in sports arenas, films and online edits, where its slow build still signals power and impending action.
