The famous looping sax solo meme from SunStroke Project's Eurovision 2010 performance, used in reaction edits, ironic hype clips and dance jokes.

Epic Sax Guy is the instantly recognisable saxophone loop from a Eurovision performance that turned into a long-running internet meme. The clip features a bright, punchy sax riff with a playful groove and an over-the-top performance style that makes even ordinary footage feel dramatically cooler. It lands somewhere between triumphant and absurd, which is why creators use it for reaction punchlines, glow-up reveals and intentionally cheesy edits. Even a short snippet gives a scene a confident, goofy energy that viewers immediately associate with classic meme culture.

Epic Sax Guy comes from SunStroke Project's Eurovision Song Contest 2010 performance of "Run Away," where saxophonist Sergey Stepanov's dance and solo became the standout moment. Clips and loops of the performance spread widely on YouTube and across meme pages, turning the sax break into a shorthand for exaggerated coolness. It stayed popular because the visual performance is as memorable as the audio, and the short loop fits reaction edits, parody montages and nostalgic internet meme compilations.
