A helium-pitched 'Chupa' chant aimed at tennis star Nick Kyrgios, a fan-made taunt clip played during matches and heated tennis debates online.

This is a short fan-made chant built around the Spanish taunt 'chupa', aimed squarely at Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios and run through a helium-style pitch shift that squeezes the voice into a squeaky, cartoonish register. The clip lasts about twelve seconds and leans entirely on repetition and attitude rather than melody, sounding like a crowd of mocking chipmunks jeering from the stands. It lands as pure sports heckling: petty, playful and deliberately annoying, the kind of sound that turns a tense rally or a Kyrgios meltdown clip into a joke before the point is even over.

The exact origin of this clip is not documented, which is typical of fan-made sports taunts that circulate on soundboards and in group chats. 'Chupa' is Spanish slang roughly meaning 'suck it', a classic football-stadium insult that tennis fans have borrowed for Nick Kyrgios, the Australian player famous for his fiery on-court behaviour and clashes with officials. The helium pitch shift is a common meme trick that makes any heckle sound sillier and less aggressive. Versions like this spread through tennis fan communities and highlight reels, where a squeaky insult lands better than a serious one.

What does 'Chupa Kyrgios' mean?

'Chupa' is Spanish slang roughly translating to 'suck it', used here as a taunt aimed at Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios. The clip is fan-made sports heckling, not an official recording, and the helium pitch shift makes the insult sound squeaky and comedic.

Why is the voice pitched up like helium?

The high pitch is a deliberate meme edit that makes the chant sound like a cartoon character. Pitching heckles up is a common trick because it keeps the taunt playful instead of genuinely hostile, which suits highlight reels and joke edits.

When do people play this sound?

Fans play it during Kyrgios matches, under clips of his on-court arguments, or after he loses a big point. It also works as a group-chat taunt when a friend who supports Kyrgios watches their pick go down.
