About this sound

Zig's short, mischievous laugh from the animated comedy Zig & Sharko, used in edits, reaction videos, and cartoon moments when a scheme unfolds.

This clip captures Zig’s distinctive laugh from the animated comedy series Zig & Sharko. Lasting just over one second, the vocal burst sounds gleeful, mischievous, and slightly unhinged, matching the hyena’s habit of hatching plans and celebrating too early. Its compact timing makes the laugh land like a quick reaction rather than a full dialogue scene. In a video, it can instantly suggest sneaky satisfaction, foolish confidence, or playful villainy, especially when a character thinks a ridiculous scheme is finally working.

The laugh comes from Zig & Sharko, a French animated comedy series produced by Xilam Animation and first released in 2010. Zig is a hungry hyena whose repeated attempts to catch Marina are usually stopped by Sharko, the shark who protects her. Because the program relies heavily on visual slapstick and expressive character noises, brief reactions such as Zig’s laugh work well outside their original scenes. The clip remains useful in online edits because it communicates scheming delight without requiring spoken dialogue or additional context.
