About this sound

The famous 'Tomarun ja nee zo' anime quote from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, used in edits, ironic motivation clips and meme videos.

This sound is the well-known Japanese line 'Tomarun ja nee zo,' delivered in a dramatic, determined tone that instantly signals stubborn momentum. Even if a listener does not know the full scene, the clip carries a strong feeling of pushing forward no matter what. In edits and memes, it often lands as a mix of inspiration and irony, especially when paired with a character walking on, failing anyway, or charging into something doomed. That contrast between sincere resolve and meme timing is what makes the sound hit so well.

This quote comes from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and is associated with Orga Itsuka. Online, the line became a widely shared anime meme because its serious delivery fit both heartfelt and absurd editing styles. Fans reused it in captioned clips, remixes, and reaction videos to suggest relentless forward motion, especially when the outcome is clearly terrible. Its staying power comes from that dual meaning: it can sound genuinely inspiring in one edit and completely darkly comic in the next.
