The Pixies song clip heard in Fight Club's ending, used in edits, memes and dramatic posts when a scene needs a detached, surreal vibe.

This sound is a short clip of "Where Is My Mind?" by Pixies, best known to many listeners from the ending of Fight Club. It has a dreamy, slightly eerie alt-rock feel, with soft vocals and a floating melody that makes a moment feel distant and emotionally charged. In edits and memes, the clip often signals realization, chaos settling in, or a strangely calm aftermath. It gives videos a reflective, off-balance mood that can make even simple visuals feel more cinematic and unsettling.

"Where Is My Mind?" is a song by Pixies originally released in 1988, and it became especially famous with wider audiences after its use in the final scene of Fight Club in 1999. That closing moment helped turn the track into a lasting shorthand for surreal calm, emotional disconnection and aftermath. Online, creators still use the clip in movie edits, character breakdowns and ironic posts because it instantly brings a recognisable detached mood without needing much setup.
