About this sound

A short Mike Wazowski scream associated with Pixar's Monsters, Inc., used in meme edits, reaction videos, and sudden comedic jump cuts online.

The Wazowski scream is a brief, sharp vocal outburst associated with Mike Wazowski, the one-eyed monster from Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. The clip rises quickly and ends almost immediately, giving it the abrupt energy of a startled yell or exaggerated panic reaction. Its compact length makes the scream land like an audio punch line without interrupting the pace of a video. Viewers commonly recognize the character reference, while the sudden volume and frantic delivery add surprise, chaos, or playful alarm to an otherwise ordinary moment.

Mike Wazowski is a central character in Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., released in 2001, and is voiced by Billy Crystal. Short screams associated with the character became useful material for online meme edits because his expressive design and anxious reactions are instantly recognizable. This particular audio is commonly treated as a standalone reaction rather than a full line of dialogue. It remains useful in short-form videos, gaming clips, and image edits where creators need a fast burst of cartoon panic with a familiar movie connection.
