About this sound

A short Japanese voice clip saying "unchi," meaning poop. People use this sound in anime edits, joke reveals, and childish punchlines.

This clip is a very short vocal sound of someone saying "unchi," the Japanese word for poop, with a loud, playful delivery. It lands fast, almost like a tiny verbal jump scare, so it works well as a silly interruption or an intentionally immature punchline. The humor comes from the bluntness of the word and how suddenly it appears in a video. In edits, it usually shifts the mood from normal to ridiculous in under a second, making awkward moments, bad takes, and goofy reactions feel even more unserious.

This sound is commonly shared online as a short Japanese meme clip built around the word "unchi." Because the uploaded source information does not identify a confirmed character, show, or original recording, it is safest to treat it as a widely reused vocal snippet rather than tie it to a specific anime. It keeps circulating in meme edits because it is brief, instantly recognizable to many anime and Japanese media fans, and easy to drop into reaction posts, joke captions, and low-stakes comedic remixes.
