About this sound

A very short Team Fortress 2 Heavy voice clip saying the iconic meme word "Pootis," used in edits, shitposts and gaming memes for sudden absurd humor.

This sound is the tiny, instantly recognizable TF2 clip associated with Heavy saying “Pootis.” It is extremely short, punchy and a little goofy, which is exactly why it lands so well in memes. The voice has that deep Heavy delivery, but the clipped timing turns it into a fast comedic hit rather than a full quote. Creators use it when they want a random burst of game humor, a dumb reveal, or a split-second reaction that makes a moment feel more chaotic and unserious.

“Pootis” is closely tied to Heavy from Valve’s Team Fortress 2, released in 2007, and became a long-running community meme through YouTube, GMod and SFM videos. The word is widely recognized by TF2 fans even in very short clip form. Its popularity lasted because the delivery is simple, weird and instantly readable as game meme humor. It often appears alongside other classic multiplayer meme sounds such as the ROBLOX oof, especially in fast-cut gaming edits and absurd character videos.
