About this sound

A brief Pokémon Stadium voice clip announcing that a Pokémon is still confused, used in gaming edits, reaction videos, and moments of comic uncertainty.

This short clip comes from Pokémon Stadium and features an announcer stating that a battling Pokémon remains confused. The direct delivery resembles an in-game status update, but outside the battle arena it becomes a dry reaction to indecision, misunderstanding, or chaotic behavior. Its compact length makes the line easy to place immediately after a puzzling comment or failed explanation. For viewers familiar with the game, the recognizable announcer style also adds nostalgic humor while clearly communicating that someone has not figured out what is happening.

The clip originates from Pokémon Stadium, a Nintendo 64 game centered on fully animated Pokémon battles. During matches, the game’s announcer describes attacks, status conditions, and changes in momentum, including confusion that continues across turns. Short announcer lines later became useful as standalone gaming reactions because they communicate a complete idea without needing the surrounding battle. This one remains effective in edits about uncertainty, especially when creators want a recognizable Pokémon reference rather than a general reaction sound.
