About this sound

A short sword stabbing flesh sound effect, credited to Joshua Chivers, with a sharp, wet impact for fight scenes, horror edits, games, and reactions.

This brief effect captures the sound of a sword driving into flesh. It begins with a fast, sharp strike and ends in a dense, wet impact, creating an immediate sense of injury without lingering ambience or dialogue. The compact timing makes the hit feel sudden and forceful, while the textured finish adds a graphic edge suited to violent action or dark comedy. On screen, it can make a staged attack feel more convincing, punctuate an unexpected betrayal, or exaggerate an obviously fake stab for a deliberately over-the-top reaction.

The file metadata identifies this clip as “Sword - stab flesh” and credits Joshua Chivers as its artist. No specific film, television series, game, or release year is established by the available information. Rather than representing a recognizable quote or franchise moment, it functions as a standalone Foley-style impact. Short stabbing effects remain useful in online video because they synchronize easily with fast cuts, animated combat, gameplay highlights, horror scenes, and reaction edits while communicating the action almost instantly.
