About this sound

A short wet squish sound effect used for slime, goo, soft impacts and cartoon edits. Great for funny fails, food clips and exaggerated movement.

This clip is a brief, juicy squish sound with a soft wet texture and a slightly comedic feel. It works well when something sticky, mushy or rubbery gets pressed, stepped on or squeezed. The sound is short enough to punctuate a visual gag without covering dialogue, and it instantly makes a moment feel more tactile. Creators often use it to exaggerate slime videos, messy food edits, cartoon landings or awkward close-up movement. It adds a playful, slightly gross detail that makes the action feel more physical and noticeable.

This is a general-purpose squish sound effect rather than a quote tied to a specific character or scene. Short squishy Foley clips like this are common in meme edits, gaming videos, and social posts because they make soft, sticky or awkward motion feel instantly clearer. Editors keep using them because the sound is easy to recognize and lands fast in short-form video. It fits everything from slime content to exaggerated food textures, and its simple, punchy timing makes it useful across many different styles of edit.
