About this sound

The parody anime song from South Park's Good Times with Weapons episode, used in meme edits, anime spoofs and over-the-top action clips.

It has upbeat pop-rock energy, simple English lyrics and a deliberately cheesy, overenthusiastic delivery that makes the whole moment funnier. The clip instantly gives a scene a mock-epic anime feel, turning even mundane footage into something that feels absurdly intense, nostalgic and self-aware at the same time.

Let's Fighting Love comes from the South Park episode Good Times with Weapons, which first aired in 2004. In the episode, the song plays during the boys' anime-inspired fantasy sequences, making the joke land through its intentionally awkward English lyrics and upbeat style. Over time, the chorus spread online in parody anime edits, gaming videos and meme compilations. It remains popular because it instantly signals exaggerated action and playful nostalgia for overblown cartoon fight scenes.
