About this sound

Content generated with AI assistance

A reaction clip from the smth series by ghoul404, shouting P Diddy nooo, used by creators to react to shocking, awkward or unbelievable moments in edits.

This is a short, high-energy reaction sound built around a drawn-out shout of P Diddy nooo, delivered with rising panic and disbelief that makes it instantly recognisable in a fast edit. The voice stretches the final word, almost pleading, before cutting off abruptly, which gives editors a clean punch point for a reveal, a fail or an unexpected twist. It lands as comic alarm rather than genuine anger, so viewers read it as exaggerated shock, a meme-style gasp at something they were not supposed to see. That over-the-top delivery is what makes it work as a reaction, turning a brief moment of disbelief into the joke itself.

This clip comes from the user-made smth series, specifically its second series, where creator ghoul404 labelled the button P Diddy Nooo. Like other entries in that series, it was shared as a short, reusable reaction sound for edits and memes rather than as part of a film, show or song. Its appeal comes from that simple, shoutable format, which travels easily between reaction videos, gaming clips and meme compilations. Because the name and delivery are easy to recognise, creators keep returning to it whenever they need an instant, over-the-top response to something surprising.
