About this sound

The “Sike, that’s the wrong number” audio from Deshawn Raw’s Supa Hot Fire rap battle parody, used for fake-outs, punchlines, and reaction edits.

This clip captures Supa Hot Fire delivering the line “Sike, that’s the wrong number” before an exaggerated chorus of shouting erupts around him. The calm setup and sudden, drawn-out celebration turn a simple joke into an absurdly dramatic victory. Its long reaction gives editors room to linger on a reveal, failed guess, or deliberate misdirection. The audio works especially well when someone appears confident moments before being proven wrong, adding the overblown energy of a rap battle crowd to an otherwise ordinary mistake.

The line comes from Deshawn Raw’s Supa Hot Fire rap battle parody, released online in 2011. Supa Hot Fire delivers intentionally simple boasts while the surrounding crowd reacts as though each one is devastating. The wrong-number joke became one of the character’s most recognizable moments and circulated widely as a reaction clip and remix sample. Its setup-and-explosion structure still suits short comedy edits, alongside dramatic cues such as the Vine Boom sound effect, because it instantly turns a minor correction into a major event.
