About this sound

A short French Shrek reaction clip saying “Oh, ça, c'est pas très gentil,” sourced from a YouTube Poop and used for rude or unfair moments.

This 1.9-second clip features a French voice delivering “Oh, ça, c'est pas très gentil,” meaning that something was not very nice. Its Shrek framing and YouTube Poop source give the line a playful, edited-movie feel rather than a serious reprimand. The quick delivery lands as a mildly offended reaction, making an awkward insult or unfair move feel deliberately overdramatic. Because the phrase is immediately understandable to French speakers and expressive even without context, it works as a compact punchline after rude comments, betrayals, failed favors, or petty behavior.

The file metadata labels this clip as sourced from a YouTube Poop and credits RunningColours, while its title associates the line with Shrek. It circulated as a compact French reaction audio rather than a long scene excerpt. The polite wording makes its disapproval funnier when paired with exaggerated or obviously petty behavior. Like the Bruh meme, it remains useful because creators can place it immediately after a mistake, insult, betrayal, or unfair result without needing additional setup.
