About this sound

WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons delivers his trademark Damn reaction from WWE television, used to punctuate awkward, shocking, or ridiculous moments.

This two-second clip captures Ron Simmons delivering his signature one-word verdict: “Damn!” His deep, forceful voice lands after a brief beat, giving the reaction a blunt sense of disbelief and finality. Familiar from his appearances on WWE television, the line works like an audio full stop. It turns an awkward reveal, foolish decision, outrageous claim, or sudden failure into a punchline, making the viewer feel that the moment has been judged and no further explanation is needed. The short runtime keeps the impact immediate and easy to recognize.

Ron Simmons is a retired professional wrestler whose emphatic use of “Damn!” became a recurring part of his WWE television appearances during the mid-2000s. He often entered after a bizarre or embarrassing scene, paused, delivered the word, and walked away. Repeated appearances established it as his signature catchphrase. Wrestling compilations and reaction edits later carried the isolated line to broader online audiences. It remains widely understood because the setup is minimal, Simmons’s delivery is unmistakable, and the single word gives almost any foolish moment a decisive comic ending.
