About this sound

The Pootis Spencer Here meme reshapes the Heavy's Team Fortress 2 voice line into a goofy phrase used in gaming edits, absurd jokes, and reactions.

Pootis Spencer Here is a short vocal meme built from the Heavy’s dialogue in Team Fortress 2. The clipped pronunciation makes “Put dispenser here” sound like the nonsensical phrase “Pootis Spencer here.” Its abrupt delivery and recognizable character voice give it a deliberately goofy quality. Viewers familiar with the game immediately recognize the reference, while the strange wording still works as absurd humor for everyone else. The clip often punctuates unexpected appearances, Engineer-related jokes, chaotic gameplay, or moments when someone places an object in the wrong spot.

The phrase comes from Team Fortress 2, released in 2007, and the Heavy’s spoken request to “Put dispenser here.” Through clipped audio, repetition, and community remixing, the line was reinterpreted as “Pootis Spencer here.” It became part of Team Fortress 2 meme culture through animated videos, gameplay edits, and character-based jokes. The unusual pronunciation is memorable even without context, while longtime players associate “Pootis” with the Heavy and the game’s deliberately exaggerated voice performances. That combination keeps the clip useful in gaming humor and surreal reaction edits.
