About this sound

A creepy PBBV meme sound tied to the Gorilla Tag ghost legend, often used in horror edits, fake sightings and spooky game clips.

This sound is a short creepy clip associated with PBBV, the Gorilla Tag ghost legend that shows up in fan videos and joke sightings. It has the kind of eerie, distorted feel people use to make a normal game moment suddenly sound cursed or suspicious. In edits, it helps signal that something strange is about to happen, especially when a player turns a corner, spots a figure in the distance, or cuts to a fake paranormal reveal. The effect is more unsettling than loud, which makes it work well for suspense.

PBBV is a fan-made Gorilla Tag creepypasta that spread through TikTok, YouTube, and community storytelling rather than an official in-game character. Players use the name for spooky myths, fake encounter videos, and horror-themed edits built around the idea of a ghost monkey appearing in lobbies. Sounds linked to PBBV stay popular because they fit short-form horror pacing: a brief eerie cue, a quick camera move, then a reveal. That mix of game culture, creepypasta lore, and meme editing keeps the sound in circulation.
