About this sound

The legendary Finish Him announcer call became a meme sound for final blow moments, ironic victories, and dramatic endings used widely in gaming humor and reaction edits.

This sound is the famous announcer line 'Finish Him' from Mortal Kombat, delivered in a deep, commanding voice that instantly signals a final chance to end the fight. The clip is short, sharp and intensely dramatic, so it lands well even in fast edits. People use it to frame a decisive moment, whether someone is about to win, get roasted or completely mess up. It adds arcade-style tension and makes ordinary clips feel bigger, louder and more over-the-top in a way viewers immediately recognize.

'Finish Him' comes from the Mortal Kombat game series, where an announcer calls it near the end of a match to signal a finishing move opportunity. The phrase became one of the franchise's most recognizable audio cues and spread far beyond fighting games through compilations, parody edits and meme videos. It still gets used because the meaning is instantly clear even out of context: someone is cornered, a decisive moment is coming, and the next beat should land hard.
