About this sound

A short, playful xylophone sound associated with DNA Productions, used to punctuate bouncy motion, quirky reveals, cartoon edits, and comic transitions.

Mexican Jumping Bean is a brief xylophone clip with a light, playful character. Its bright notes suggest quick movement, bouncing objects, or a small character darting around the screen. The sound lasts just over four seconds, giving the musical phrase enough time to establish a whimsical rhythm without dominating an edit. Because the tone feels cartoonish and slightly unpredictable, it can make an ordinary action appear sillier or more animated. It works especially well when visual movement follows the timing of the individual xylophone notes.

This clip is identified as a DNA Productions xylophone sound, although its exact production context and recording date are not established. DNA Productions was an American animation studio best known for its work on Jimmy Neutron. Online, the audio is commonly labeled Mexican Jumping Bean because its quick xylophone pattern evokes lively, irregular motion. That descriptive name helps the clip remain useful in cartoon-style edits, short comedy videos, and animations where movement needs a compact musical accent.
