About this sound

The classic “I hope she made lotsa spaghetti” voice clip from the Hotel Mario game, used in edits, gaming memes and absurd nostalgic remixes.

This sound is the short spoken line “I hope she made lotsa spaghetti,” delivered in the stiff, cheerful voice acting style that made Hotel Mario so memorable online. The clip is brief, clear and instantly recognizable to anyone who knows early game memes. It has a goofy, low-budget cartoon feel that makes a scene sound more awkward and funny on purpose. Creators use it to punctuate food jokes, retro gaming references, and weirdly enthusiastic moments where a character is excited about something completely ordinary.

This line comes from Hotel Mario, the 1994 Philips CD-i game known for its animated cutscenes and unusual voice acting. Online, “I hope she made lotsa spaghetti” became one of the most quoted lines from the game as clips spread through YouTube memes, game compilations, and remix culture. It still gets reused because the delivery is instantly funny, the phrase is easy to recognize, and it represents the awkward charm of early video game cinematics.
