About this sound

The iconic Ace announcer sound from League of Legends, played when an entire team is eliminated. Often used in gaming edits, fails and comeback clips.

This clip is the familiar Ace call from League of Legends, the in-game announcer line that plays when all five members of one team have been taken out. It is short, sharp and dramatic, with a clean voice delivery that instantly signals a total wipe. Because so many players recognize it, the sound adds a strong sense of victory, collapse or sudden momentum swing. In edits, it works like a punchline for team fails, clutch plays or any moment where one side gets completely shut down.

Ace is a well-known gameplay callout from League of Legends, Riot Games' multiplayer battle arena title released in 2009. The announcer line became instantly recognizable to players because it marks a full team elimination, one of the most decisive moments in a match. Over time, creators started using the sound outside the game in montages, meme edits and reaction posts to represent total defeat or a clean sweep. Its staying power comes from how quickly one word communicates a complete collapse.
