About this sound

A dramatic Kamehameha-style yell inspired by Dragon Ball, used in memes, anime edits and power-up jokes before a big reveal or attack.

This clip captures a long, over-the-top Kamehameha-style scream made famous by Dragon Ball attack scenes. It sounds like a character charging up energy, stretching the final shout for extra intensity before unleashing a blast. The effect is instantly recognizable to anime fans and works because it turns any ordinary moment into something absurdly epic. In a meme or edit, it adds hype, parody and that classic shonen feeling of powering up far beyond what the situation really deserves.

The sound is based on the Kamehameha attack associated with Goku in the Dragon Ball franchise, a long-running anime and manga series that helped define shonen action. Variations of the scream spread widely through fan edits, parody videos and anime meme compilations online. It remains popular because even people who do not follow Dragon Ball often recognize the dramatic charge-up and shout. That shared recognition makes it a reliable pick for overpowered joke setups and exaggerated transformation scenes.
