About this sound

A short French voice clip from the comedy series Kaamelott, featuring the familiar “on en a gros” line used to express comic frustration or grievance.

This brief Kaamelott dialogue clip delivers the French phrase “on en a gros” in the series’ unmistakably aggrieved comic style. The wording suggests that someone has accumulated plenty of complaints and is finally ready to make them heard. Its blunt delivery and compact length give it an immediate reaction-meme quality, especially when a situation feels unfair, irritating, or needlessly complicated. For viewers familiar with the show, the line also recalls Kaamelott’s distinctive mix of medieval settings, modern speech, deadpan exchanges, and characters struggling to be taken seriously.

Kaamelott is a French television comedy created by Alexandre Astier and first broadcast in 2005. It reimagines the Arthurian legend through contemporary dialogue, workplace-like disputes, and deliberately awkward exchanges among medieval characters. “On en a gros” became one of the series’ recognizable expressions, often shared as a compact reaction to frustration or accumulated grievances. The clip remains useful in French-language memes because its meaning is clear, its delivery is immediate, and it fits everyday complaints without requiring a long setup.
