About this sound

The classic “It’s alive” movie quote, used in memes and reaction edits when something chaotic, impressive, or unexpectedly successful suddenly comes to life.

This clip is the famous “It’s alive” exclamation, delivered with dramatic, rising intensity that instantly signals a big reveal or a wild creation coming together. It has an old-school horror movie feel, but online it usually lands as comedy rather than fear. Creators use it when a project finally works, a cursed idea becomes real, or an object starts moving in a weirdly triumphant way. The line is short, loud, and instantly recognizable, so it adds a theatrical punch to transformation edits, failed experiments, and over-the-top reaction moments.

“It’s alive! It’s alive!” is most famously associated with the 1931 film Frankenstein, where Dr. Henry Frankenstein shouts the line during the monster creation scene. The quote became one of the most recognizable moments in classic horror cinema, then spread far beyond film through parody, remixes, and meme edits. It still shows up online because the phrase perfectly captures the moment an invention, joke, or strange idea suddenly starts working, especially in exaggerated reveal clips.
