About this sound

A short meme clip of a man yelling “Among Us,” used in sus jokes, abrupt gaming edits, and reaction posts when something feels obviously suspicious.

This clip is a very short burst of a man loudly yelling “Among Us” with an exaggerated, almost sudden delivery. At under a second long, it works like a quick shock reaction rather than a full quote, cutting through a video with instant chaotic energy. The sound usually lands as a punchline for anything that looks even slightly suspicious, red-colored, or oddly shaped. Because the yell is so brief and intense, it gives edits a deliberately over-the-top meme feel without needing any setup or extra context.

This sound is part of the wider Among Us meme wave that spread across short-form video and gaming edits after the game became hugely popular in 2020. Rather than relying on a long setup, creators use the quick yell as an instant recognition joke whenever something visually suggests the game or feels suspicious. Its staying power comes from how fast and obvious the reference is, making it easy to pair with zoom-ins, freeze frames, alarm cuts, or other dramatic meme reactions such as the FNAF Jumpscare Scream.
