About this sound

A raw, music-free clip of Guts screaming Griffith in Berserk, used in anime edits, betrayal memes, anguished reactions, and dramatic videos online.

This short Berserk voice clip captures Guts crying out Griffith’s name with intense anguish. With the background music removed, the strained scream stands alone, making every break and rough edge in the performance more noticeable. The isolated delivery creates an immediate sense of betrayal, desperation, and emotional collapse, even when separated from the original scene. Editors often use it to push an anime montage toward its dramatic peak or to exaggerate a minor disappointment into a devastating personal tragedy. Its brief length also makes the scream effective as a sudden reaction punchline.

This isolated scream is associated with Berserk and the tortured relationship between Guts and Griffith. Removing the musical backing shifts attention entirely to the vocal performance and the emotion carried by Griffith’s name. The clip spread through anime edits, reaction videos, and memes that frame ordinary betrayals as life-changing disasters. It remains useful because viewers familiar with Berserk immediately recognize the emotional conflict, while those without that context can still understand the scream as an expression of rage, grief, or helplessness.
