About this sound

A short voice clip saying "grab your butt cheeks," used in memes, gaming edits and reaction videos when something intense, chaotic or painfully awkward is about to happen.

This sound is a brief spoken line built around the phrase "grab your butt cheeks," delivered in a blunt, joking way that instantly raises the stakes. The humor comes from how oddly specific and dramatic it sounds, making even a small moment feel like a crisis. In edits, it usually lands right before a fail, jumpscare, risky play or embarrassing reveal. The line works because it is both crude and playful, so viewers read it as a warning that something uncomfortable, ridiculous or high pressure is coming next.

The exact source of this clip is not clear from the available information, but it circulates online as a short comedic warning line. Its phrasing makes it memorable, so creators reuse it in meme edits, gaming videos and reaction posts whenever a scene is about to turn stressful, embarrassing or painful. The sound fits the same role as dramatic cue clips such as the Inception Button, where the audio tells viewers to brace for impact. That simple setup-and-payoff format is why it keeps showing up in short-form content.
