This clip comes from Rocket League, the vehicle soccer game released by Psyonix in 2015. In the game, “Epic Save” appears as a defensive accolade when a player stops a dangerous shot on goal. Outside the game, the line spread through gameplay montages, streamer edits and short meme videos because it instantly communicates a clutch rescue.
