About this sound

The garbled DoodleBob voice clip from SpongeBob SquarePants, famous for the "me hoy minoy" line and used in memes, chaotic edits and goofy reaction posts.

This sound is the strange, scratchy voice of DoodleBob, the sketch version of SpongeBob known for muttering the nonsense phrase "me hoy minoy." It has an instantly chaotic cartoon tone, with fast, scribbly energy that feels both silly and slightly unhinged. Because the voice is so odd and recognizable, it works as a punchline on its own and makes a scene feel more absurd within a second. Viewers usually read it as a signal that something dumb, frantic or gloriously off-the-rails is happening.

DoodleBob comes from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Frankendoodle," where a drawing of SpongeBob comes to life and speaks in distorted gibberish, including the memorable "me hoy minoy" line. The episode first aired in 2002, and the character later became a long-running meme online. The sound stayed popular because it is short, instantly recognizable to cartoon fans, and perfect for absurd edits, reaction memes and any clip that needs a weird burst of animated chaos.
