About this sound

The looping Crazy? I was crazy once meme chant, a creepy funny copypasta-style audio people use in edits, joke replies and absurd TikTok videos.

This sound is the familiar “Crazy? I was crazy once” chant delivered in a repetitive, sing-song voice that quickly turns from funny to oddly unsettling. The rhythm loops through the same idea over and over, which makes it stick in your head and gives it that chaotic internet energy. People use it when a joke has gone too far, when someone is spiraling, or when they want to exaggerate a feeling of losing it. The repetition is the whole gag, making simple clips feel more unhinged and absurd.

This audio is based on the well-known “Crazy? I was crazy once” rhyme that circulated online for years as a copypasta, joke monologue, and recited meme. Different spoken versions have appeared across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and soundboards, where creators use it for looping edits and exaggerated mental-breakdown jokes. Its staying power comes from the repetitive structure: people recognize the setup immediately, then use the chant to make a clip feel trapped in its own punchline. It often appears alongside other chaotic reaction sounds such as bruh.
