About this sound

A short double clap associated with Aoi Todo from Jujutsu Kaisen, used in anime edits, swaps, fake teleport moments, and punchline reveals.

This clip is a quick, sharp double clap tied to Aoi Todo’s signature hand clap in Jujutsu Kaisen. The sound is dry, percussive, and instantly readable even in a very short edit, which makes it useful as a cue for a sudden switch, entrance, or surprise move. Because the clap is so brief, it lands like a visual trigger as much as an audio one. Viewers usually read it as a setup for a swap, a power move, or a sudden change in who is where on screen.

This sound is commonly recognized by anime fans as the clap linked to Aoi Todo in Jujutsu Kaisen, where a clap signals his technique and a sudden switch in positioning. Short clips of the moment spread widely in anime edits on TikTok, YouTube, and soundboards because the audio is immediate and easy to sync to cuts. It stays popular because even a fraction of a second is enough for viewers to understand the reference, much like other anime reaction cues such as anime ahh.
