About this sound

A viral Russian voice clip saying “Bu, ispugalsya? Ne boysya, ya drug.” People use it in memes, jumpscare edits and chat pranks.

This sound is a short Russian meme audio built around a fake scare and an oddly friendly follow-up. It starts with a sudden “Bu” like a playful jumpscare, then shifts into a calm, absurd line that makes the whole clip feel awkward and funny instead of threatening. The contrast is what sells it: a sharp opening shock followed by a bizarre reassurance. In videos and voice chat jokes, it works as a quick bait-and-switch that turns tension into confusion, making viewers laugh at how strange and unexpected the delivery is.

This audio is widely shared online as a Russian meme clip and is commonly reposted in short edits, chat audios, and compilation videos. It spread because the structure is instantly funny: a scare setup followed by an unexpected friendly line in Russian. Many people recognize it from meme pages and messaging apps rather than from a clearly credited original source. Its staying power comes from being short, quotable, and easy to drop into prank videos, reaction edits, and low-effort shitpost-style posts.
