About this sound

A heavily distorted excerpt of Skrillex's Bangarang, packed with abrasive bass and vocal chops for chaotic edits, memes, and sudden hype moments.

This clip transforms a section of Skrillex's Bangarang into an even harsher burst of electronic noise. The recognizable dubstep rhythm, chopped vocals, and grinding bass are pushed through heavy distortion, giving the audio a clipped, overloaded texture. Its intensity can make an ordinary reveal feel chaotic, turn a failed stunt into exaggerated destruction, or punctuate a fast montage with a deliberately excessive drop. Because the sound is loud and dense, it creates an immediate jolt rather than serving as subtle background music.

Bangarang is a track by American electronic producer Skrillex featuring rapper Sirah. It was released in 2011 and became the title track of the Bangarang EP, representing the aggressive dubstep sound associated with Skrillex's early breakthrough period. Distorted and bass-heavy variations later circulated through gaming videos, montage edits, memes, and short-form clips. This altered version remains useful because its recognizable rhythm still comes through while the overloaded production adds a deliberately chaotic, speaker-blowing effect.
