About this sound

A parody of the 20th Century Fox intro with a Kancolle-style papapapa ending, used in anime edits, memes and fake studio opening jokes.

This clip recreates the familiar 20th Century Fox fanfare and then flips it with a Kancolle-themed vocal sting, often described as a quick papapapa finish. The contrast between the grand movie-intro brass and the sudden anime-style twist makes it funny on impact. It works like a fake prestige opening for something much sillier, so viewers get a brief sense of buildup followed by an immediate punchline. That mix of cinematic expectation and fandom remix energy is what gives the sound its meme appeal.

This sound is a fan-made mashup built around the iconic 20th Century Fox intro and a Kancolle reference. Rather than coming from an official film or trailer, it is mainly known through reposts on soundboards, meme videos, and anime fandom edits where creators use it as a fake prestige opening. Its appeal comes from combining a globally recognizable studio fanfare with a niche fandom punchline. That contrast keeps it useful for parody intros, especially in clips that jump from cinematic buildup to a sudden anime joke.
