A short Star Finger sound effect from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVA, used for quick anime punches, finger-poke jokes and dramatic meme edits.

The Star Finger OVA clip captures the instant Star Platinum shoots its fingers forward, a fast, sharp whoosh followed by a hard, punchy impact that lands before the listener can blink. It sounds stretched and forceful rather than cartoonish, with a brief metallic edge that makes the hit feel sudden and precise. Because it is only about two seconds long, it works as a single beat of surprise, turning an ordinary poke, jab or reveal into a dramatic anime moment and giving viewers the satisfying sense that something powerful has just struck from nowhere.

Star Finger is a technique of Star Platinum, Jotaro Kujo's Stand in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, in which the Stand extends its index and middle fingers to strike from a distance. The OVA version of Stardust Crusaders, released in the 1990s, gave the move a distinctive sharp sound that fans later clipped and shared as a short meme effect. It remains popular because the sound instantly signals a JoJo-style surprise attack, even for viewers who only recognise the pose, and it fits neatly into edits, reaction videos and short-form jokes.
