Return the Slab

The eerie 'Return the Slab' quote from Courage the Cowardly Dog, used in memes and edits for creepy reveals, cursed jokes and nostalgic cartoon posts.

This clip features the haunting "Return the Slab" line made famous by the ghostly King Ramses in Courage the Cowardly Dog. The delivery is slow, echoing and unnerving, with a creepy cartoon-horror tone that instantly makes a scene feel cursed or ominous. Even without the full episode context, the sound is recognizable as a nostalgic shock moment from early 2000s TV. Creators use it to turn ordinary images, awkward discoveries or sudden zoom-ins into spooky punchlines that feel dramatic, weird and a little absurd.
