Kars laugh from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a short, menacing villain cackle used for evil reveals, smug wins, and anime meme edits online today.

This is Kars delivering a brief, theatrical laugh that lasts under three seconds. The voice is deep, smooth and deliberately arrogant, starting controlled before opening into a confident cackle that signals he believes he has already won. There is no music or background noise, just the isolated vocal performance, which makes the arrogance feel personal and unsettling. Played over a close-up or a sudden twist, it instantly turns a character into a smug, untouchable villain and gives the moment a mocking, superior tone that viewers recognize even without context.

Kars is the main antagonist of Battle Tendency, the second part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and the leader of the Pillar Men seeking to become the ultimate life form. His calm, superior manner made his short laugh a favorite clip among fans of the 2012 anime adaptation. Isolated from its scene, the laugh circulated on soundboards and in fan edits, where it became shorthand for an arrogant villain who thinks victory is guaranteed. It remains popular in anime memes because the performance is instantly recognizable.
