Kotomine Kirei's iconic Mapo Tofu line from the Fate series, a short voice clip fans use for spicy food jokes, memes, anime edits and reaction videos.

This short clip captures Kotomine Kirei, the calm and unsettling priest from the Fate series, delivering his beloved dish's name with deadpan reverence. His low, measured voice makes the simple words Mapo Tofu sound like a solemn declaration rather than a food order, which is exactly why fans love it. The contrast between his sinister composure and his genuine passion for extremely spicy Sichuan tofu creates an instant comedic punch, turning a mundane craving into a memorable character moment that lands even without any visual context.

Kotomine Kirei is a priest and antagonist in the Fate franchise, best known among fans for his surprising devotion to mapo tofu, a fiery Sichuan dish he eats with complete seriousness. The gag became a running joke in Fate/stay night and its later adaptations, where his love for the dish contrasts sharply with his role as a manipulator and villain. Online, Fate fans turned the moment into a shorthand meme for deadpan obsession, using the short voice clip in edits, reaction videos and food jokes long after the original scenes aired.
