Komasan sound effect from Yo-kai Watch featuring the cute komainu Yo-kai's surprised voice line, used for cute anime reactions and funny moments.

This clip captures Komasan, the shy country komainu Yo-kai from Yo-kai Watch, delivering his high-pitched, wide-eyed reaction in his soft, childlike voice. The sound rises with innocent surprise, full of his signature swirly-cheeked charm and bumpkin wonder at something new. It plays less like a dramatic shout and more like a cute gasp from a character who is constantly amazed by the modern world. Viewers instantly read it as adorable confusion, which is why a short drop of his voice can lighten a scene and turn an ordinary surprise into a sweet, funny anime moment.

Komasan debuted in Level-5's Yo-kai Watch, first released as a Nintendo 3DS game in Japan in 2013 and adapted into a television anime in 2014. Based on a komainu guardian statue, he is a white, swirl-cheeked Yo-kai who leaves the countryside for the city with his younger brother Komajiro. His earnest naivety and English dub catchphrase 'Oh my swirls' made him one of the franchise's breakout mascots. Clips of his voice later spread through anime edits, fan videos, and soundboards as a shorthand for cute, overwhelmed disbelief.
