Satsuki Kiryuin from Kill la Kill coldly dismisses an injury with the line it's not even a scratch. Creators use it to shrug off fails and roasts in memes.

This two-second voice clip captures Satsuki Kiryuin from Kill la Kill delivering the line it's not even a scratch in a calm, dismissive tone. Her voice is steady and commanding, with no strain or panic, as if the wound genuinely does not register. The delivery lands as pure confidence, turning pain into a flex. Dropped over a clip, it instantly reframes a hit, insult or failure as something too small to matter, giving the subject an untouchable, stoic aura that makes the moment funnier and more badass at once.

Satsuki Kiryuin is one of the central characters of Kill la Kill, the 2013 action anime from Studio Trigger, famous for her iron will and refusal to show weakness. The line it's not even a scratch fits her persona perfectly, which is why fans clipped it and shared it across meme soundboards and anime edit communities. It spread as a reaction quote for moments where a character or creator takes a hit and refuses to acknowledge it, and it endures because the deadpan delivery makes any small setback feel trivial.
