The Cuphead announcer calls “And begin!” at the start of a battle. Creators use this game voice clip to open challenges, fights, and competitions.

This short Cuphead voice clip features the game’s vintage-style announcer declaring, “And begin!” with theatrical energy. The delivery resembles an old radio host introducing a lively contest, matching the game’s 1930s cartoon presentation. Because the line is brief and decisive, it creates an immediate starting signal without interrupting the pace of a video. Viewers recognize it as a cue that action, conflict, or a difficult challenge is about to start, making the clip especially effective for competitive edits, gaming videos, countdowns, and humorous confrontations.

Cuphead is a run-and-gun game released in 2017 by Studio MDHR, known for visuals inspired by 1930s animation. Its announcer introduces encounters with energetic spoken cues, including the short “And begin!” line heard here. Players became familiar with these introductions through repeated boss battles, and the phrase later found a natural place in gaming edits and competition memes. It remains useful because its theatrical delivery clearly marks the instant a challenge starts while preserving Cuphead’s distinctive cartoon atmosphere.
