Sobre este som

Light Yagami's manic laugh from Death Note, a chilling clip of the anime villain celebrating his victory. Used for villain reveals and dark meme edits.

This is Light Yagami's unhinged laugh from Death Note, captured as he finally believes his plan as Kira is working and no one can stop him. The laugh starts low and controlled, almost like a quiet chuckle, then builds into a high, hysterical, almost breathless cackle that feels both triumphant and deeply unsettling. It is not a happy laugh, but the sound of a brilliant teenager losing himself to power and god complex, which is why it lands so hard in edits. Played over a reveal, a betrayal or a moment of overconfidence, it instantly tells the viewer that the character has crossed a line and enjoys it.

Light Yagami is the protagonist of Death Note, the manga and anime series created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, in which a school student finds a notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it. As Light adopts the identity of Kira, his laughter becomes a defining signal of his descent from justice-seeker to megalomaniac, and clips of it have circulated for years in anime edits, reaction videos and TikTok memes. Fans still use it because it instantly signals intelligence, arrogance and a plan coming together, without needing any dialogue or context.
