The Ultragaz gas truck jingle from Brazil in the 2000s, a melody heard on the streets. Used in nostalgia memes and funny videos about Brazilian childhood.

This is the little jingle played by Ultragaz gas delivery trucks as they drove through Brazilian neighborhoods in the 2000s, a bright, repetitive synthesized melody designed to be heard from far down the street. It has a cheerful, slightly tinny music-box quality, looping every few seconds like an ice-cream van tune. For anyone who grew up in Brazil at the time, hearing it triggers instant recognition and a rush of childhood nostalgia, half funny and half warm, which is why creators love dropping it into videos to signal something Brazilian, old-school, or unexpectedly domestic.

In Brazil, Ultragaz is a long-running household gas distributor whose trucks play a short melodic jingle while driving through residential streets to announce their arrival. The 2000s version of this street call became deeply familiar to a generation who heard it weekly outside their homes. Clips of the tune later spread on soundboards, WhatsApp and meme pages as shorthand for Brazilian everyday life. It endures because it instantly signals neighborhood routine, childhood memory and a very specific local soundscape that younger creators remix for comedy.
