O tym dźwięku

The fast, chaotic chase music known as Yakety Sax, famous from The Benny Hill Show and used in memes, fails and sped-up comedy edits.

Yakety Sax is a lively, rapid-fire instrumental clip built around a bright saxophone melody and bouncy backing. It instantly creates a sense of chaos, urgency and slapstick movement, which is why people use it over chases, clumsy moments and fast-cut comedy edits. Even a short section makes a scene feel more absurd, as if everything is spiraling out of control in a playful way. Viewers usually recognize it as classic goofy chase music, so the joke lands quickly without any setup or dialogue.

Yakety Sax is a well-known instrumental piece by Boots Randolph, released in the 1960s, and it became strongly associated with The Benny Hill Show. Its use during the show's fast-motion chase sequences helped turn it into shorthand for slapstick chaos. Online, the track spread far beyond television through meme edits, fail compilations and parody videos. It still gets used because a few seconds of that sax melody immediately signals frantic, goofy movement and old-school comedic timing to a wide audience.
