O tym dźwięku

Hear the TF2 Scout yell 'Oh, I'm burning' from Team Fortress 2. A panicked voice line gamers use over fire damage, fails and rage moments in memes and edits.

The clip is the Scout's frantic on-fire voice line from Team Fortress 2, delivered in his fast Boston accent by voice actor Nathan Vetterlein. He yelps 'Oh, I'm burning!' in a rising, panicked pitch as flames lick the screen, usually triggered when the Pyro sets him alight. The delivery is pure slapstick panic: breathless, nasal and just a little whiny. Hearing it instantly sells a moment of chaotic comeuppance, making viewers laugh at the character's suffering while feeling the heat of the gag themselves.

Team Fortress 2 launched in 2007 from Valve, and the Scout's voice lines, performed by Nathan Vetterlein, became some of the most quoted in PC gaming. The burning line fires when afterburn damage ticks, a constant threat from the Pyro class. Editors ripped it into GMod skits, SFM animations and later TikTok memes, where it punctuates any clip involving fire or humiliation. Like other clipped game callouts such as Enemy Spotted, it survives because the panic is instantly readable even with no context.

Who says 'Oh, I'm burning' in TF2?

The Scout, the fast-talking Boston mercenary class in Team Fortress 2, voiced by Nathan Vetterlein. The line triggers when he takes afterburn fire damage, most often after a Pyro lights him up, and players hear it constantly in chaotic matches.

Why is the Scout burning sound a meme?

Because the delivery is pure cartoon panic, and it fits any clip where someone gets metaphorically burned. Editors pair it with fails, roasts and lava deaths, so the yell became shorthand for instant, deserved comeuppance online.

How do creators use this sound in edits?

They drop it the moment fire, explosions or embarrassment hit on screen, often cutting to the victim's reaction. It works best as a quick punchline under gaming fails, roast clips and rage moments rather than a long background gag.
