O tym dźwięku

The famous “Oh my God, Becky, look at her butt” intro from Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back, used in memes, throwbacks and comedic reveal edits.

This clip is the instantly recognisable spoken intro line from Baby Got Back, where a valley-girl voice blurts out, “Oh my God, Becky, look at her butt.” It lands with a sharp, gossipy tone that makes any reveal feel dramatic, petty or knowingly over-the-top. Because the line is so short and punchy, creators use it to frame exaggerated reactions to outfits, photos, curves, or anything meant to look absurdly attention-grabbing. It works best when the joke is about mock shock, gossip, or playful exaggeration.

This sound comes from the opening spoken exchange of Sir Mix-A-Lot's hit song Baby Got Back, released in 1992. The intro became widely quoted far beyond the full track because the first line is memorable on its own and easy to recognise instantly. Online, it spread through parody videos, lip-syncs, throwback edits and body-positive jokes, especially when a creator wants a flashy reveal with a wink. Its staying power comes from how quickly it signals exaggeration, gossip and 90s pop culture in just a few seconds.
