The “the ting go skrra” clip is Big Shaq’s famous line from his Fire in the Booth freestyle, used in meme edits and reaction videos for absurd punchlines.

This sound is the clipped “the ting go skrrra” moment from Big Shaq’s viral freestyle, delivered with a dead-serious tone that makes it instantly funny. The line lands like a dramatic boast, then turns absurd because of the exaggerated delivery and the nonsense ad-libs around it. It works as a punch-in reaction sound when a video needs sudden swagger, irony, or a ridiculous overconfident payoff. Even without the full song, the phrase is recognizable enough to signal meme culture and UK internet humor in a second.

This sound comes from Big Shaq, the comedy character played by Michael Dapaah, during his “Fire in the Booth” freestyle on BBC Radio 1Xtra in 2017. Lines from that performance, especially “the ting go skrrra,” spread rapidly across YouTube, Twitter, and meme pages before the wider success of “Man’s Not Hot.” The clip stayed popular because it is short, instantly recognizable, and easy to drop into reaction edits whenever a joke needs mock seriousness or exaggerated bravado.
