The famous El Risitas laughing sound from the Spanish TV interview clip, widely used in memes, reaction edits and subtitled fail videos.

This clip is the unmistakable laugh of El Risitas, a rapid, wheezy burst of laughter that quickly turns contagious. It starts with a chuckle and builds into a breathless cackle that instantly signals that something is absurd, badly explained or hilariously doomed. In edits, it works as a reaction punchline because the laugh itself feels bigger than the moment before it. Viewers recognize it as that classic meme laugh used to mock disasters, exaggerate ridiculous stories or underline a total mess in a playful way.

The sound comes from Spanish comedian and television personality Juan Joya Borja, known as El Risitas. His laughing interview clip from the TV show Ratones Coloraos became widely shared online, especially in subtitled meme videos that rewrote his story to fit gaming, tech and pop culture jokes. The laugh stayed popular because it is instantly recognizable and expressive even without context. It is often used the same way as a funny laugh or paired with Directed by Robert B Weide after a visual fail.
